About Me
My name is Doudelyne Cenafils. I am from Framingham, Massachusetts and I am a third-year Medical student. Looking back at my life, I can see different seasons, different stages of growth that have helped me understand my own potential and the path that I wish to take in my life. My interest in pursuing the Master degree in Public Health at Walden University was for me the ultimate potential in helping a large number of people, emphasizing on prevention and primary care, and finding a way to stop the progression of numerous diseases that strike every day.
A dimension that has positively contributed to my life comes from my strong personal character. I am from the diligent, hard working, persevering and eager to learn and to progress type. I dream high and work hard to achieve my goals. I accept challenges and try to gain more for the better in the process. Besides the aforementioned characteristics, I am actively involved in social and cultural activities promoted in my community.
From the practicum, I am certain that I gained the necessary knowledge that will help me strengthen my future career as a physician and a specialist in Community Health Education. I want to have a multi-tier profession as a physician where I will be active in making healthcare rise to another level. Therefore, I will be starting the doctorate degree in Public Health in June 2012. Together, these fields will complement each other as I advocate and provide support and care for those in need.
